Tanya Massy

Locations: Australia.

Tanya grew up on a grazing property in the Monaro region of NSW and has directly witnessed and worked with a range of challenges and shifts that have affected the agricultural sector in recent years. This background, together with her experience working in communities where the issues of food security and sustainable regional livelihoods are matters of daily survival, has made her passionate about the central role agriculture plays in the lives of everyone who eats! She is currently completing her Masters in Agricultural Science at the University of Melbourne, and is working as a research assistant at the Victorian Eco Innovation Lab on a ‘live’ action research project that is working to re-localise the food system of SE Melbourne.
